Your Position:

Step into a dynamic role at Burwood Council. As a generalist Administration Assistant, you'll work with a supportive team, doing a variety of tasks that drive diverse and meaningful work.

This Talent Pool is being created for future Casual or Temporary roles that may arise over the next 18 months.


To be successful in this role you will be an organised, proactive, considerate team player with:-

Certificate III in Business Administration or a related discipline with contemporary experience in a similar role.

  • Interest in acquiring experience as a Local Government support functions.
  • Willingness to work in and contribute positively to a multi-disciplined team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency and aptitude to lean relevant software programs (Microsoft Officer, Records Management)


Key Requirements:

  • COVID-19 vaccination for all employees (2 Vaccines)
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police History Check (where applicable)
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment health assessment (where applicable)
